The horror incident left several people seriously injured in Liverpool on Monday

The Radford family has provided an update indicating some of the 22 Kids and Counting stars had been present at the horrific incident in Liverpool on Monday evening.

Britain's biggest family is very active on social media, frequently sharing with fans what they've been up to, but during the chaotic scenes in Liverpool on Monday, they shared a somber message.


It seems some of the Radford daughters had been present at the Liverpool parade celebrations, which came as fans enjoyed festivities following the football team's Premier League title win.

As celebrations were starting to come to an end, a car rammed into crowds, sparking panic and leaving 27 people injured.

Police later confirmed a white British 53-year-old man had been arrested. It is understood that four people, including one child, remain seriously injured.

Assuring social media followers of their safety, one of the Radford parents penned on the family Instagram: "Just want to let everyone know the girls are safe thank god but my heart is aching for the families involved in this horrific attack no words can describe how horrified we are by the scenes we have seen." (sic)

The family didn't share who of the clan were in attendance at the event, with most of the Radfords residing in Morecambe, Lancashire.

However, the Radfords seem to have a strong connection to Liverpool FC, with one of their young sons, Casper, expressing his dream of playing for the club professionally.

The family also frequently attends matches and meet players, while they often visit the city.

The Radfords are among several famous faces to have paid tribute to the victims and witnesses to last night's horror scenes.

Scouse comedian John Bishop also addressed the devastating incident, which he had also been present at before the crash.

The 58-year-old penned on Instagram: "I was at the parade today with my dad and like everyone else I am shocked and heartbroken about the events at the end of the Liverpool parade."

He continued: "My heart goes out to all those affected. Our anthem could not be more appropriate. You'll Never Walk Alone."

He had previously posted a photo of himself with his dad looking out at the joyous celebrations.

The comedian captioned the photo: "Sometimes you find yourself looking out of the window with your Dad and things just make sense. Grateful to be doing this."

Oasis star Liam Gallagher, 52, also paid tribute on social media, writing in view of his 3.8million X followers: "Thoughts and prayers with all our brothers and sisters of LIVERPOOL."

Former Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton also expressed her shock at the tragedy.

"My dad and nephew were in Liverpool today at the celebration parade," she began.

The post continued: "Then I saw a video of what happened and my heart sank.

"Thankfully, they're both safe, but I am absolutely horrified at what I saw today and my thoughts and prayers are with all those affected! #YNWA." (sic)
