Gareth Southgate 'deserves to be sacked' as England limp to disappointing Denmark draw

England fans have raged at Gareth Southgate following the Three Lions' 1-1 draw with Denmark at Euro 2024 on Thursday.
Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 13th minute, with the Bayern Munich star netting from close range after good work from Kyle Walker.
But Denmark deserved at least a point and secured one through Morten Hjulmand, with the Sporting Lisbon star seeing his low drive sail past Jordan Pickford.
Big things have been expected of England so far this summer but, while still unbeaten, they've failed to live up to the hype.

"Gareth Southgate deserves to be sacked. This is an absolute disastrous performance from England, how on earth can you have all this talent and still look this wobbly," said one fan.
A second said: "Gareth Southgate ought to be sacked immediately!!|"
A third opined: "England will never win a trophy while Gareth Southgate is in charge, He's completely clueless I think he knows himself and is trying to get sacked sooner."

Southgate isn't guaranteed to stay with England after the European Championships.
He previously hinted he'd walk away prior to the competition commencing, though the FA would like him to sign a new contract and extend his stay.

England won't have too long to reflect on the disappointing draw.
The Three Lions will face Slovenia in their final group stage game on Tuesday (8pm).
They are currently all but through to the last 16, with no team ever failing to qualify in the modern format with four points.
There are serious questions over this England team and Southgate, however, despite the success he's enjoyed since taking charge eight years ago.
And whether they can answer them this summer remains to be seen.
