Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and French hard-right politician Jordan Bardella have gone public with their relationship after being photographed together at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

The pair, who attended one of motorsport's most celebrated events, were seen throughout the races in the VIP area.

The 22-year-old Italian socialite and the 30-year-old politician, widely regarded as Marine Le Pen's successor and a potential future presidential candidate, made no attempt to hide their romance.

The couple were not alone at the circuit, with Maria Carolina's younger sister Princess Maria Chiara accompanying them and serving as their unofficial photographer, documenting the day's racing action.

Their mother, Camilla, was also present to witness the couple's first major public appearance together.

The romance first became public knowledge in early April when Paris Match captured the couple enjoying a romantic getaway in Corsica.

Their relationship is understood to have started approximately a year ago following an initial encounter in Monaco in May 2025.

Bardella was visiting the principality with his father Olivier, a keen motorsport fan, when he met the princess.

Speaking to Paris Match, the politician described the moment as "love at first sight".

Maria Carolina holds the title of Duchess of Palermo and Calabria as the daughter of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro, who claims leadership of the royal house of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, though such titles are not officially recognised under Italian law.
