“I’ve been in make-up and skin care my whole adult life, but there have been some changes that I’ve made in the past couple of years that I think have made a huge difference to my texture my [skin] tone, and the firmness of my skin.”
Tegan confirmed in the comments that she has had zero office procedures to enhance her skin, emphasising the importance of the products mentioned for anti-ageing benefits and skin firmness.
She claimed to have achieved her youthful appearance without any office procedures, relying solely on her at-home skin care regimen.
“I only wash my face with very gentle clarifying cleansers and make-up removers,” the content creator explained.
“I don’t get any burning, it doesn’t strip the skin, and I keep all of my natural hydration.”
The second crucial ingredient in her regimen is retinol, which plays a unique role in anti-ageing routines.
“Invest in a good retinol, retinol is amazing for anti-ageing, I’ve been using retinol for a while,” said Tegan.
“When we’re using retinol or any acids for exfoliation, we want to make sure we are building back stronger skin underneath it.
“Peptides are so important for building firmness, and it’s also important for healing. There are so many types of peptides.”
Adding peptides to a skin care routine ensures that while addressing signs of ageing, the skin’s overall health and resilience are maintained.

Viewers thanked Regan for the tips, with one person commenting: “Maaaaam I would have 100% believed you if you said you were in your late 20’s.”
Tegan also stressed the importance of SPF, explaining it is another crucial habit with anti-ageing benefits, even during the colder months of Autumn.
UV rays are present even when not visible, making sunscreen essential year-round to prevent potential skin damage.
By damaging the skin's elasticity, UV rays can make signs of ageing more prominent early on in life.
